What is Panantukan?

Panantukan - also known as “Filipino boxing” - is the unarmed component of Filipino martial arts.

SAMI-X Panantukan is dynamic, unconventional and highly functional. It combines flowing movements with targeted, explosive techniques and uses the entire body - hands, elbows, shoulders, hips and head - as a tool in combat.

The focus is not on sporting competition, but on strategic, creative and free fighting. Panantukan is not only effective - it also looks damn good.

Contents of the intensive seminar:

✅ Elbow, shoulder and headbutt techniques

✅ Destroy & control - limb destructions & takedowns

✅ Clinch work & close range tactics

✅ Partner drills, sparring & flow work

✅ Developing rhythm, creativity and strategic thinking in the fight

✅ Punch training with pads and equipment

✅ Sparring elements & dynamic partner work

In addition to technique and coordination, the intensive work with claws, punch pads and partner exercises also promotes the fighting aspect and actively trains physical fitness.

🏅 QUALIFICATION & CERTIFICATION - SAMI INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

The path to becoming a SAMI Instructor and Partner is structured in two stages.

Important: Completion of an instructor course alone does not entitle you to teach or train others under the name SAMI International.

STEP 1: QUALIFICATION

The respective course serves to acquire the technical qualification.

After complete participation, fulfillment of all course requirements and successful passing of the final exam, you will receive the official qualification status.

Example: SAMI-X Pro Level 1 Candidate Instructor

This qualification is system-specific (e.g. SAMI-X Knife, SAMI-X Pro, SAMI-X Krav Maga etc.) and applies to the respective level.

STEP 2: CERTIFICATION

A certified license is required to teach officially under the name SAMI International, to teach techniques, to use materials or to work commercially as a SAMI Instructor.

📜 SAMI Instructor License:

Cost: €250.00 per year

Duration: 1 year (renewable annually)

After the license expires, you are no longer entitled to teach as an official SAMI Instructor or to use SAMI materials.
