Convenience and flexibility
Online martial arts courses allow you to learn at your own pace and on your own schedule. This can be especially beneficial for those with busy schedules or who may not have access to a local SAMI Academy. This flexibility also gives you more time to prepare for the exam and more confidence that you are ready.

We use only the best instructors (mostly Peter himself) for our online courses, and everything is explained in great detail. This means that lessons can be easily reviewed and repeated as needed, allowing you to fully grasp difficult concepts and techniques.

What to expect
Video Lectures
All lessons are taught through video, where all techniques and exercises are explained in detail. These video lessons are taught by our expert instructors and follow our official curriculum.
Assignments
In order to give you personalized feedback and monitor your progress, you will be required to submit assignments on a regular basis. These assignments are recordings of yourself demonstrating a technique or exercise. Our instructor will review your clip and give you corrections.
Near the end of the course, you will be required to submit two longer assignments - a technical clip (approximately 10 minutes) and a teaching clip (approximately 10 minutes) - to ensure that you are ready for the exam.
The Exam
Our exams are conducted via group video calls where each participant is asked to perform the required exercises on camera. Our expert instructors will review and grade your performance. If you pass, you will automatically receive your official SAMI diploma. If you fail, you can retake the exam another time.

As part of your Instructor Course, you will be assigned an expert instructor who will be available to you whenever you have questions or need help.
Live sessions
Each online course includes a few live sessions where you can connect via video call to learn and train together.
