The Abanico strike in SAMI-X Stick Fighting system is a technique that involves quick, fan-like strikes, using the wrist as a pivot point, typically performed in horizontal or diagonal movements.
Key characteristics of the Abanico strike include:
- Fan Motion: Strikes are executed in a rapid, fan-like motion.
- Wrist Rotation: Power primarily comes from the wrist movement.
- Speed: Focus is on speed and precision.
- Versatility: The strike can be delivered from various angles and heights.
The Abanico strike is used to surprise opponents and break through their defense.
