What it is about
Advanced angles, dual Karambit, deployment under real-world conditions.
Module 3 is where the system becomes yours. Advanced angle templates and dual-Karambit work, Panantukan entries blended into blade movement, line management and manipulation, deployment under real-world pressure, and targeting — the finishing combinations that follow an entry. The final chapters open the instructor level: arm destruction chains, the Controlled Fighting Program and a broad set of training tools for your own classes.
What you learn
What you will be able to do.
- Clear Feedback on Your ProgressYour video assignments are reviewed by SAMI instructors, so you know where you stand in every area of the Karambit system and what to refine.
- Certification PrestigeEarn your SAMI-X Karambit Module 3 certificate through the assignments and the examination. Karambit Module 1 instructors with an active SAMI instructor license can also take the instructor path.
- Strategic Tactical MindsetDevelop a strategic mindset that enhances your decision-making and situational awareness, crucial in dynamic, high-pressure situations.
How certification works here
Train. Submit. Improve.
Unlike most online courses, this one does not end with watching: you submit videos, you get personal feedback, and you finish with a real examination.
- 1Train the lessonsWork through the chapters one by one and build a solid understanding of the concepts, drills and techniques of the system.
- 2Show what you can doFor selected chapters you submit short videos demonstrating the required material.
- 3Get personal feedbackA certified SAMI-X instructor reviews your submission and gives you concrete recommendations for improvement.
- 4Take your examinationOnce your assignments are complete, you take the official examination.
On successful completion you receive your official SAMI-X Karambit Module 3 certificate.
Who it is for
Who the course is for.
- You have worked through Modules 1 and 2The advanced templates, targeting combinations and destruction drills assume you can already handle the twelve angles and the six-angle defense under pressure.
- You train Panantukan as wellA full chapter blends Panantukan entries with blade movement — empty-hand striking principles and the Karambit sharing the same structure.
- You are heading for the instructor levelAdvanced instructor drills, the Controlled Fighting Program and structured training tools for footwork, drawing and reaction are part of the module.
Not the right course if …
- You are starting with the Karambit — begin with Module 1, which builds the grip, stance and angle work this module relies on.
- You want techniques without concepts — Module 3 is built around line management, targeting and manipulation as principles.

- Do I need to complete Module 1 and 2 before starting Module 3?

- What makes the SAMI Karambit system unique?
