A versatile tool for professionals
EBC stands for Expandable Baton Concept, a combat system that involves the use of an expandable baton, also known as a telecopic stick. An expandable baton is a type of self-defense tool used primarily by law enforcement and security personnel as a defensive weapon. It's primarily used to strike an attacker and can be effective in disabling an opponent. It is a metal rod that can be extended to a longer length and collapsed to a shorter length, usually by a flick of the wrist.
The expandable baton is typically made of steel, aluminum, or other strong and durable materials, and can range in length from about 40 cm (16 inches) when fully extended to as short as 15 cm (6 inches) when collapsed.

In our courses we teach you everything you need to know about the use of the Expandable Baton or Tonfa. What you learn is based on many years of practical experience and has been tried and tested in prisons and police units. In 2021, over 90 Prison Deployments using EBC were documented, resulting in 0 injured.
SAMI-X EBC focuses on legal compliance, non-injurious use for both parties, crowd control, teamwork, transport techniques, restraint techniques, and the combination of different weapons (telescopic baton or tonfa), using the least amount of resources using the latest training methods and practical experience. Special techniques of using the stick in combination with a shield, handcuffs or pepper spray are also included in our training program.
