SAMI-X PRO: a Combat System for operations

SAMI-X PRO trains the defensive and offensive skills of operational forces: armed defence and defence against armed or unarmed attacks by one or several attackers. Techniques and concepts follow the mission, proportionality and the law.

Structure

One system, several components

SAMI-X PRO with 12 levels is the core. Individual equipment and tasks have their own components with three stages each. Each can be booked on its own or as part of the full training.

    Expandable Baton Concept: the safe, proportionate and effective use of the baton, with telescopic baton or tonfa. Taught to police and justice units.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can the components be booked individually?

Yes. EBC, Weapon Protection, SEC and the laser training (SIRT) are components of SAMI-X PRO and can be booked individually or as part of the full training.

Does the authority cover the costs?

That depends on the authority and unit. Authorities receive a government discount. Depending on the agreement, payment is handled through the authority. If costs are reimbursed afterwards, we issue the invoice to the employees.

Is prior knowledge required?

No. SAMI-X PRO is designed so that participants can start without special prior knowledge. Reasonable physical fitness is advisable; please clarify any health questions with us in advance.

Can an authority have multipliers trained?

Yes. We tailor instructor and multiplier training to the respective authority: legal framework, duration and goals of the training, equipment, tactics and team size.

Is there a minimum number of participants?

That depends on the course and is stated on the course page. If it is not reached, we postpone or cancel the training and offer alternatives to those registered.

How does certification work?

After a course you receive a confirmation of attendance or a certificate, usually at the end of the course. In the instructor training you receive the certification and instructor rank after each level or module; an active SAMI instructor license is required.
