- You are new to blade trainingNo prior experience is required. The course starts with grip, stance and the checking hand, then adds angles, defense and drills step by step.
- You already train another artIf you come from Krav Maga, Panantukan, Kali or a striking system, the Karambit adds a tool that changes distance, control and timing — and the module shows exactly how it connects.
- You mostly train on your ownSeveral chapters are built for solo work: footwork, Sinawali hands, trapping and handling drills you can run without a partner.
- You want to teach the systemThe instructor chapters cover pad work, seminar planning, coaching methods and the material required for the instructor examination. They are unlocked with an active SAMI instructor license – if you don't have one yet, you can book it together with the course.

- What happens after Module 1 if I stay in the Student Track?
- You can continue with Karambit Module 2 and later Module 3. Each is a separate course that builds on what you've learned and introduces more advanced techniques, applications and training concepts.
- Can I review lessons or chapters later on?
- Yes! With a one-time payment you have lifetime access to the lessons and can repeat any lesson or drill as often as you like – at your own pace. Assignment feedback and the exam are available for 12 months from purchase.
- Can I switch to the Instructor Track later if I change my mind?
- Yes. The instructor chapters are part of this course and are unlocked as soon as you have an active SAMI instructor license – your progress carries over. If you don't have a license yet, you can book it together with the course ("Course + Instructor License").

- Is the Student Track different from the Instructor Track?
- Yes. The Student Track is designed for participants who want to train for themselves, without teaching responsibilities or didactic content. You can fully complete the course and – if you wish – receive a Student Certificate for Module 1. An exam is not mandatory, but it is available if you'd like to officially validate your skills.
- Do I need a training partner?
- Many exercises can be done solo, including footwork, angle drills, and precision cutting patterns. For some parts (like trapping or destruction drills), it’s useful to have a partner – but they don’t need any previous experience. You can easily train with a friend or family member.
- Is there a final exam in the Student Track?
- Yes – there is a voluntary final exam available. It’s not required, but recommended if you want to track your progress and receive a full student certification.
- Are there training plans included?
- Yes! You’ll find training suggestions, solo routines and partner drills that help you plan your sessions effectively. The structure is designed to support both guided progression and flexible, personalized learning.
