Requirements for a Level Examination

To take a level examination, the following requirements must be met:

Level 1–2:
✅ 1 × 3-Day Intensive Seminar or 2 × Weekend Only Seminars

From Level 3:
✅ 2 × 3-Day Intensive Seminars or 4 × Weekend Only Seminars

From Level 6:
✅ 3 × 3-Day Intensive Seminars or 6 × Weekend Only Seminars

Meeting these requirements does not replace any additional examination requirements (e.g. required training level or instructor approval), if applicable for the respective level.

🏅 QUALIFICATION & CERTIFICATION – SAMI INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

The path to becoming a certified SAMI Instructor or Partner follows a two-step structure.

⚠️ Please note: Completing an instructor-level course alone does not authorize you to teach or certify others under the SAMI International name.

STEP 1: QUALIFICATION

Each course serves to develop technical skills and qualification.
After full participation, meeting all course requirements, and successfully passing the final assessment, you receive official candidate status.

Example: SAMI-X Pro Level 1 Candidate Instructor
This qualification is system-specific (e.g. Knife Concept, Axe Concept, etc.) and applies to the respective level only.

STEP 2: CERTIFICATION

To officially teach under the SAMI International name, share techniques, use SAMI materials, or operate commercially as a SAMI Instructor, an active certified license is required.

📜 SAMI Instructor License
Fee: €250.00 per year
Duration: 1 year (renewable annually)

Without a valid license, you are not authorized to teach or use SAMI materials under the official brand.

💡 One active license covers all your qualifications.

Example: If you are qualified in Knife Concept, Axe Concept, and Defender – one license is sufficient.

Just Attending (No Exam)?

Of course – you’re welcome to attend any seminar without taking the instructor exam.
In this case, you will receive either a:
📄 Certificate of Participation or
📄 Student Diploma (depending on course content)

Important Notice:

This seminar will take place subject to the minimum number of participants being reached. If the minimum number of participants is not met, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the seminar. All registered participants will be informed in good time.

Cancellation Policy:

In case of illness (with medical certificate): 100% refund
For all other cancellations:
From 4 weeks before the workshop: 50% of the fee
From 2 weeks before: 80% of the fee
From 1 day before: 100% of the fee
