Krav Maga Techniques & Levels
Our training programs use level-based grouping to show expected techniques and provide appropriate challenge. Our trainings are methodically arranged in a way that appreciable success will come quickly.
The 12-Level System
From Candidate Instructor to Master Instructor — your path through all levels.
Candidate Instructor
300+ clips. Stances, footwork, evasions, striking tools, defense against punches, grabs, chokes, and releases. Combinations, block drills, skill training, and control positions.
Assist Instructor
125+ clips. High-speed combinations, defense against pushes, pulls, and kicks. Throwing techniques, ground fighting basics, fighting drills, and solo training applications.
Basic Instructor
157+ clips. Defense with everyday objects (SDS integration), extended ground defense, defense against knife attacks, stick defense, and advanced kick defense.
Associate Instructor
113+ clips. Sparring, knife defense and disarming, ground defense, control positions, partner training, and advanced combination work.
Advanced Instructor 1
50+ clips. Defense against blunt weapons, blunt object disarming, stick defense and combat, advanced releases, and striking tools progression.
Advanced Instructor 2
45+ clips. Multiple attacker defense, ground defense, sensitivity training, advanced sparring, knife defense specialization, and theory of strategy.
Advanced Instructor 3
64+ clips. Handgun and rifle threat defense, gun disarming, advanced kick defense, unfavorable position recovery, impact training, and advanced fighting drills.
Advanced Instructor 4
Complete tactical proficiency. Asymmetric threat response, improvised weapon mastery, advanced teaching methodology for high-risk scenarios. Preparation for Expert level.
Expert Instructor
System expertise. Deep understanding of biomechanics, tactical decision-making under duress, advanced student assessment, and the ability to adapt the system to individual needs and professional contexts.
Full Instructor
Full system mastery. Qualified to teach all levels, certify other instructors, develop training programs, and represent SAMI-X Krav Maga at international level.
Level 11
Senior system authority. Contributions to system development, international seminar leadership, and mentorship of Full Instructors across regions.
Master Instructor
The highest rank in SAMI-X Krav Maga. Complete mastery of all aspects — technical, tactical, pedagogical, and philosophical. System guardianship and global leadership.
