Give training as a gift

What you can give

At sami-x.com/geschenk you can give:

• a Full Membership for 3, 6 or 12 months — 5 Core Combat Systems, 6 online courses included, live trainings and workouts
• a Single Membership Panantukan for 3, 6 or 12 months
• an online course — unlocked for good, no expiry

A membership's duration only starts when the recipient redeems it, not when you buy. There is no subscription: after the duration the membership simply ends, nothing is charged.

How it works

1. Choose the product and duration
2. Enter the recipient's first name, a personal message and how to deliver it
3. Check and pay — the checkout shows you the available payment methods

You do not need a SAMI-X account. With an account you find the gift later under Account › Gifts.

Buying in the app

You can also give memberships and online courses directly in the app: Menu › Give training or Gift it on a course page. Choose Full or Single Membership with a duration, or a course, enter the person and pay via the App Store or Google Play — the receipt comes from the store, the confirmation with the code by email from SAMI-X. Prices are the store's, in your store currency.
If the app was closed between the purchase and entering the person, it shows "A gift is waiting for details" the next time you open it — then you add the person. A refund of an app purchase goes through Apple or Google as long as the code has not been redeemed; for these purchases there is no cancel button under “My gifts”.

Delivery

• By email — right after payment or on a date of your choice (for example 24 December at 8:00). Until then you can still change the date and address.
• Hand it over yourself — you get the gift card as a PDF, plus code and link. You can share both via WhatsApp.

With SEPA direct debit the gift only goes out once the money has arrived, which takes up to 5 business days. Shortly before Christmas, better choose an instant payment method such as card.

After the purchase: My gifts

On the web under Account › Gifts, in the app under Menu › My gifts you see all gifts you bought or received, with their status: scheduled, delivered, redeemed, waiting, cancelled. In the app the entry appears as soon as you have given or redeemed something.

In a gift's detail you can:

• before it goes out: change the date or email address and edit the message
• after it went out: send the email again or to another address if it did not arrive (at most three times, a few minutes apart — check the spam folder first)
• download the gift card as PDF, copy the link or share it via WhatsApp (in the app through the share menu)

In the app all of this happens right inside the gift, without a detour through the browser.

As soon as it is redeemed, you get an email and a notification.

Cancelling

You can cancel a gift as long as it has not been redeemed: within 14 days of purchase the full amount goes back to your payment method and the code is blocked. After that, cancelling is no longer possible on the page — write to online@sami-x.com in that case.

Reminders

If a gift delivered by email is not redeemed, we remind the recipient after 7 and after 30 days. The code is valid for three years.
