Over two decades ago, Peter Weckauf began in Vienna with a simple but powerful vision: to create a self-defense system that evolves. Not rigid. Not traditional for the sake of tradition. But alive, adaptive, and rooted in real-world experience.
What began as a single training concept grew into a comprehensive system spanning seven distinct combat systems, over 140 certified instructors, and training centers around the globe. SAMI Combat Systems now stands as one of the most respected independent self-defense systems in the world.
